Sephora Australia Cruelty Free Brands

Sephora is my makeup heaven! I literally spend hours swatching and trying products before leaving with an overflowing basket and an unamused husband (sorry Jason!).

But since going Cruelty Free I have had to be more mindful of what I buy so in this post I am going to list all the Cruelty Free Brands Sephora Australia stocks in store and online and some of my top picks from each brand.

MAKEUP

Anastasia Beverly Hills
From their Modern Renaissance palette to their cult brow range, I have never tried an ABH product I didn’t love.

Beautyblender
The world’s best beauty sponge! I have at least 10 beautyblenders floating around in my makeup collection and I also love their Opal Essence Serum Face Primer to prep my skin.

Fenty Beauty
Rihanna knocked it out of the park when she launched her iconic Fenty Beauty collection. From their Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation to the Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer, the inclusive range has everything you need to create a flawless makeup look. My ride of die would have to be their OG Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in ‘Fenty Glow’.

Huda Beauty
Created from makeup maven Huda Kattan, Huda Beauty is cruelty free and one of the most insta worthy brands in the industry! I absolutely love the Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette in Coral - it is the perfect size for travelling and for creating a warm eye look which makes my eyes pop!

Iconic London
This is probably one of the most underrated makeup brands of all times! I say this because I have not tried a product from them which I didn’t instantly fall in love with! Asking to pick a favourite is like asking to choose a favourite child but I would say in this order the Blush Illuminator Drops, ‘Nearly Nude’ Lip Plumping Gloss and Original Prep-Set-Glow Mist.

INC. Redible
From the creator of Nails Inc. comes the INC.redible collection, a makeup replica of incredible high quality formulations with stylish innovation inspirations. I haven’t tried the range but their Jelly Shot Lip Balm, enriched with natural oils and a super cute flower inside the bullet, is currently in my basket!

IT Cosmetics (owned by L'Oreal)
Another iconic brand which I could not imagine in my makeup routine. Their Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream is one of my all time favourites. Available in 3 different finishes, I love the coverage it provides without feeling heavy or cakey and it has an SPF 50 keeping my skin protected!

Kat Von D Vegan Beauty (owned by Kendo)
Originally created by Kat Von D and always against animal testing, the Kat Von D range of cosmetics has always been a personal favourite. In fact my ride or die liquid eyeliner is their Tattoo Liner and their Lock It Powder Foundation is more than meets the eye. It has unbelievable, long lasting coverage like no other powder foundation I have ever tried!

Natasha Denona
If you want super pretty and pigmented eyeshadows you can’t go past the queen, Natasha Denona. What started as a love affair with her 5 quad eyeshadow palette has had me upgrading to the Sunrise Eyeshadow Palette and lusting over the new Love Eyeshadow Palette.

Sigma Beauty
Fun Fact: Sigma were the first makeup brushes I ever purchased and I still use them to this day! Their brushes are of high quality and when looked after will last you a lifetime. If you are starting out you can’t go past their Essential Brush Kit.

Tarte
From their best selling Shape Tape Concealer to their Amazonian Clay Bronzer, Tarte is committed to delivering high-performance natural products. Its eco-chic and cruelty-free cosmetics are infused with ingredients like super fruit and plant extracts, vitamins, minerals, essential oils and other naturally-derived ingredients, proving glamour can still be good for you.

Known for their best selling serums, Edible Beauty is a vegan and cruelty-free brand developed by naturopath and nutritionist Anna Mitsios. Their unique products are formulated with organic, Australian wildcrafted active ingredients, bursting with unique properties to fight signs of ageing. My go to is their No. 3 Exotic Goddess Ageless Serum.

From farm to formula, Farmacy uses fresh ingredients to develop bioactive skincare free of irritants. Farmacy explores local farms around the world in pursuit of unique ingredients that deliver unparalleled freshness and maximum efficacy. I am obsessed with their Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm which removes makeup while deeply cleansing my skin.

This highly effective, luxurious skincare range offers immediate, long-lasting relief for all skin types, including the most sensitive skin. Their range is gentle, hydrating and deeply nourishing and the Hello FAB Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer has been a favourite of mine for years! I like to use it under makeup or solo to give my skin a boost of hydration!

Proudly Cruelty Free, Lanolips is an iconic Australian skincare brand which has all bases covered! This is definitely a collect em all collection but right now I am loving The Original Lip Balm and Lip Scrubba to keep my lips soft and smooth!

Murad
Founded by Dr. Howard Murad, M.D., Murad boasts a 30-year legacy of innovation with 19 patents in clinical and cruelty free skincare. Their Retinol Youth Renewal Night Cream is incredible (I have finished a whole tub) and their popular Rapid Resurfacing Peel Wipes are SO powerful and creates instantly radiant skin.

A new cruelty free brand to land on Sephora shelves is Naturally Serious Skincare. Clinically-tested and made from powerful natural ingredients, every product is 100% vegan or vegetarian without gluten, and contains a unique patented anti-pollution blend that protects your skin from the visible signs of ageing.

Their team of experts and scientists have formulated a collection of fifteen hero products that contain skincares most-wanted ingredients to answer your beauty needs. My skin absolutely loves their Bakuchiol Moisturizer.

Oh, and their CHILLAX Muscle Recovery Gel is perfect for soothing sore muscles.

HAIR

I recently tried their Be Gentle, Be Kind Banana + Coconut Nourishing Superfood Shampoo and Conditioner and WOW - it smells like a banana paddle pop in a bottle and left my locks silky smooth and soft!

Olaplex is the OG for achieving salon treatment results at home. Olaplex is a unique and patented chemistry that multiplies bonds and cross-links broken bonds containing a single active ingredient, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate. If you are new to the brand I highly recommend their No. 3 Hair Perfector Treatment, a concentrated treatment that strengthens the hair from within, reducing breakage and improving its look and feel.

Created by hairstylist to the stars, Jen Atkin, OUAI has evolved to so much more than just hair care. Now with a focus on body and fragrance, I can’t get enough of their Rose Body and Hair Oil and have their Melrose Place Perfume on my wish list!

Sachajuan
Swedish brand Sachajuan fuses high-quality ingredients and innovation to produce simple, effective and uncomplicated hair care. The minimalist design of each product is inspired by traditional glass medicine bottles and the white elegance of Sachajuan salons. A holistic approach and well-balanced active ingredients will leave you with hair that not only looks good, but feels great.

FRAGRANCES

By Rosie Jane
I love discovering clean and cruelty free perfumes so seeing Los Angeles based fragrance and beauty brand By Rosie Jane on the Sephora website was a beautiful surprise. I haven’t tried this range before so I have ordered their Fragrance Discovery Set to try them out.

Commodity
I was kindly gifted the Commodity ‘Leather’ Roller Travel fragrance a few years back and while it isn’t my scent of choice it is definitely a rich and unique scent. I now have my eye on their ‘Tea’ fragrance.

I hope this list helps you make cruelty free choices when you next shop at Sephora.
If I have missed one of your favourite brands definitely let me know and I will add it to the list :)
